Some creativity quotes can change the way you look at creativity all together. There are some lines or quotes that you read and they stay with you long after you have finished reading the book. That is the power of words. They can empower you, change you, humble you and impact you in so many ways.
One such recent impact happened to me when I was reading a book by one of my favourite authors, Brene Brown. Her words were related to creativity and they impacted me deeply. I found these lines in a chapter on creativity. In fact, I dedicate this whole blog to that creativity quote because I think we all need to hear it.

Impact of the quote on me:
When I read this quote backed by research, something shifted within me. I paused. I reflected on it. I thought about myself as well as everyone.
Allow me to explain. I always felt that each child is born creative. However, as an adult, I was living in a bubble that I am one of the creative people. I thought I belong to this exclusive group of creative people. Perhaps I belong to the group of people who use their creativity but there is nothing like creative and non creative people.
That’s why I wanted you all to read above quote too. If you are one of those who is withholding from using their creativity, please don’t. You don’t even have to take it up professionally if you don’t want to, that’s not the point. You just have to express it in whatever small or big way you want to. Just create.

How this creativity quote motivated me to educate more:
I have been teaching and sharing about my art through my blogs for quite some time now. However, up until now I wasn’t sure of the impact that my art teaching could have. Now, I feel a higher purpose and a higher meaning attached to every single time I educate people about art specifically painting. I feel like maybe I am helping someone to express their unexpressed creativity.
I know that feeling of unexpressed creativity when I have not created art or written something for quite some time. It makes you restless and what not! I can’t even imagine how a person might feel if one hasn’t expressed his/her creativity since years or even entire lifetime.

I can’t insist you enough to include creativity in some form in your life. I respect my creativity even more after reading the lines by Brene Brown. Being more regular with all my creative projects is so much more important to me now. Additionally, sharing and teaching art has a whole new meaning to me now. Perhaps its time for you to evaluate the presence of creativity in your life too!
